A little bit about her,

So this is Kanaloa! She is a 2019 Leopard 40 Catamaran designed by Roberston & Caine. She is 40’ long by 22.5’ wide, dual Yanmar 30YM30AE 29hp engines. Sporting a Main Sail, Genoa, Code0 and a Parasail. She can cruise up to 8.5kts on good water and keep you comfortable the whole journey. She has 3 cabins and two full showers. Nicely appointed Salon and Cockpit with the easy access helm station open to below. (we call Kanaloa “she” cause my wife says so). Continuing on …… She has a draft of 4’10” but has yet to ground up anywhere we have gone. There a total of 758 hours on both engines and sips about 1/2 gal per hour each. With the 100 gal tank there is ease for distant travel without having to stop for fuel. There have been numerous upgrades and amenities that have dressed her to the nines. Beautiful as she is, her heart and soul on the water. Her functions are simple but still complex from setting the sails just right to ease of maneuverability. There were MAX Props added for a gentle nudge when you need it or a good press forward on any launch. Rated one of the best sized boats in the fleet and accommodations are modern and very comfortable.

She is also equipped with state of the art environmental Mabru heat pumps able to run fully DC when off grid for over 10 hours. No more sticky nights or shiver under the blanket evenings. Another important upgrade being the Panoptics forward facing sonar that is run through the fully integrated Garmin system, thus allowing you forward vision up to 300 feet night or day. Which also relies on the the 3 panel solar array producing 100w of power and stored with the Relion 100ah battery array.
